Crestron UCA-B70-MIC-AUX Videobar 70 Companion Extension Microphone Pod
Introduction
Clear audio is essential for productive video conferences, team meetings, and collaborative discussions. The Crestron UCA-B70-MIC-AUX Videobar 70 Companion Extension Microphone Pod is designed to expand microphone coverage for compatible Crestron Videobar 70 conferencing systems, helping participants communicate more effectively in larger meeting spaces.
This companion microphone pod connects to the primary UCA-B70-MIC extension microphone, allowing flexible microphone placement around conference tables and meeting rooms. With an integrated mute button, LED status indicator, and convenient wired connectivity, it is a practical accessory for professional conference room installations.
Key Features of the Crestron UCA-B70-MIC-AUX
1. Expanded Audio Pickup Coverage
The UCA-B70-MIC-AUX extends audio pickup coverage by approximately 7.5 feet (2.3 meters), helping capture voices from participants seated farther from the main Videobar 70 system.
2. 360-Degree Microphone Array
The companion pod features an eight-element microphone array designed for 360-degree audio pickup. This helps capture voices from different positions around a conference table.
3. Convenient Mute Button
The integrated physical mute button allows participants to mute or unmute the connected Videobar 70 audio system and microphone pods. This provides convenient control during meetings and presentations.
4. LED Mute Status Indicator
The built-in LED indicator displays the mute status, helping meeting participants quickly identify whether the microphone system is muted or active.
5. Daisy-Chain Connectivity
The UCA-B70-MIC-AUX connects to the primary UCA-B70-MIC microphone pod using the supplied signal cable. This arrangement allows the companion pod to be positioned in another area of the meeting space for more flexible audio coverage.
6. Simple Installation
The companion pod requires no separate configuration or programming. It receives power through its connection to the primary microphone pod, simplifying installation in compatible conferencing setups.
7. Professional Tabletop Design
Its compact tabletop form makes the microphone pod suitable for conference tables, boardrooms, and collaborative meeting spaces. An optional tabletop mounting kit is available separately for supported installation configurations.
