STEP 4: ADD ADAPTER KIT AV-CK

Features

  • The AV-CK connector kit can be used to attach a variety of Federal Signal audible and visual products together to create a combination unit. The kit includes one ½” NPT offset conduit nipple and two silicone washers. The table on the next page shows all the audible/visual combinations that are possible to create using the AV-CK. Please note that some combinations require drilling. (These products are denoted with an asterisk.) Products that do not require drilling have 1/2 “ NPT threaded opening to fit the connector. Installation requires the user to fit washers and twist the conduit nipple into the audible and visual product. The silicone washers should be placed over both sides of the conduit nipple and up against both the audible and visual product to ensure that no moisture or dust gets into to either product. Only the audible product needs to be mounted. Supply one power circuit for combination audible and visual signal activation. Supply two separate power circuits to independently control the audible and visual signal activation.
