The Uniden AD70U is the wall adapter and charging unit designed specifically for the newer Uniden hand-held scanners including the BC2500/3000/220/230/235/245/80/60 and others. The unit will operate your scanner while plugged into any AC outlet and when the scanner is turned off the unit will charge the Ni-cad batteries in the scanner.
