The Uniden BC75XLT is a compact handheld scanner that works best during severe weather conditions or disasters. It covers the bands used for emergency reporting including NOAA weather, Aviation, Marine, Railroad, NASCAR and non-digital police, fire, and ambulance emergencies.
This scanner has 300 user-programmable channels. Users get Close Call RF Capture technology that instantly tunes to signals from nearby transmitters as well as Do Not Disturb Mode which prevents Close Call checks during a transmission. All in all, it is a great companion on the road and at sea.
300 CHANNELS IN 10 BANKS
Gives you plenty of room to store frequencies for weather spotters, local businesses, emergency services, and more.
CLOSE CALL™ RF CAPTURE
Provides information about radio transmissions nearby. Comes with Do-not-Disturb feature which checks for Close Call activity in between channel reception so active channels are not interrupted.
PRIORITY SEARCH WITH DND
Priority channels let you keep track of activity on your most important channels while monitoring other channels for transmissions.
NARROWBAND CAPABLE
Properly receives VHF and UHF frequencies using narrower frequency spacing.
PC PROGRAMMING
Use the Sentinel software to manage your scanner’s Profiles, Favorites Lists, Databases, and firmware updates.
NON-DIGITAL SCANNER
The BC75XLT is not a digital scanner and is not capable of Digital Radio system monitoring, (e.g. Project 25, DMR, NXDN). For digital radio system monitoring, please check out Uniden models SDS100, SDS200, BCD436HP, BCD536HP, BCD996P2, BCD325P2, or the HomePatrol-2.
